About Coprodeli
Founded by Padre Miguel Ranera in 1989, The Coprodeli Foundation has served the most impoverished families of Peru and has developed a comprehensive approach to providing fundamental needs which include structured, effective, sustainable programming in the areas of education, housing, healthcare, nutrition and food security, job training, and micro-entrepreneurship.Responding to the needs of marginalized communities, and empowering beneficiaries as participants in program efforts, Coprodeli has gained legitimacy as a force for change. Combining the knowledge, experience and resources from its holistic work, Coprodeli has developed a comprehensive understanding of the approaches necessary to impart self-sustaining change in urban marginalized communities. In 1999, Coprodeli USA was founded as a 501(c)3 non profit organization, to support the innovative grassroots development carried out by Coprodeli Peru.
